Prior
to specialising in laboratory design, Brian Griffin was the design
architect for university, hospital and pharmaceutical buildings.
Architectural
research at the University Grants Committee, London, followed by
studies at universities in USA under a Ford Foundation Grant and
later commissions to design laboratory buildings in Australia, provided
the best possible groundwork for his present practice as a specialist laboratory consultant.
To facilitate the best possible working environment for laboratory
staff, Brian Griffin designed
a laboratory furniture product, Space Lab, now manufactured
in Australia by KPD PTY Limited.
