Peristitial space

By installing all mechanical services outside the laboratories in a "peristitial space", maintenance and alterations can be done without disturbing lab staff.

Construction time is greatly reduced as engineering can be installed concurrently with lab fitout. Both examples are at IHBI, QUT, Brisbane.

Floor plan showing locations of peristitial space and (right) photograph of a typical peristitial space.
